SOUL SISTAH DOULA SERVICES
We offer continuous emotional, informational, and physical support to expectant mothers during the pregnancy period. We offer assistance in creating birth plans and provide education regaurding the various options available for childbirth. We help provide relaxation techniques, breathing exercises, and labor positions to help ease discomfort during labor, as well as postpartum planning.
We are available to the laboring person, offering support from the early stages of labor until the baby is born. Our doulas are trained in various comfort techniques to help manage pain in labor. We also support and encourage the mother's partner, ensuring that they feel confident and involved in the birthing process. Doulas do not replace the partner's role but enhance their ability to support their loved one.
We help new parents navigate the physical recovery after childbirth. We can assist with breastfeeding techniques, positioning, and troubleshooting common breastfeeding challenges. We provide information and hands-on support for newborn care, including diapering, bathing, soothing techniques, and safe sleep practices. Our doulas also assist with light household tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up.

We are a group of three doulas serving the High Desert and Inland Empire. We work together to ensure continuous support during a client's pregnancy and childbirth journey. As a new doula and a mother of one, I bring a unique perspective to supporting birthing patients on their journey to motherhood. With firsthand experience of the joys and challenges of motherhood, I empathize deeply with the emotions and needs of expectant parents. My passion for guiding and empowering birthing individuals, combined with my knowledge of childbirth and postpartum care, enables me to provide compassionate and comprehensive support during this transformative time. I am committed to fostering a nurturing and informed environment, ensuring that each birthing experience is met with care, understanding, and the utmost dedication to promoting a positive and fulfilling birth experience for both the parent and their precious newborn.
I am a Christian doula supporting women in the High Desert. Throughout my life, I have been drawn to the art of nurturing and providing care. My background in nursing has given me invaluable insights into supporting individuals during life's most significant moments. Now, as a doula, I combine my expertise with a deep understanding of the emotional and physical aspects of childbirth to offer holistic support to expectant parents. I believe in the power of informed decision-making and will ensure that you have the knowledge and resources to make choices that align with your birth preferences.
My name is Dr. Sarah ShaBazz, but I am known as Mama Sarah when working as a doula. I am.a college professor of child development and early childhood education. I recieved my PhD in education in 2019. I am the biological mother of 11 children and have been blessed with 17 grandchildren. I have numerous years of experience, assisting birthing mothers by providing needed support throughout their pregnancy and during labor and delivery. My life's calling has always been centered around nurturing and uplifting others. Whether it's offering a listening ear, providing a gentle touch, or sharing knowledge, my mission is to create a safe and supportive space for you and your partner throughout this remarkable journey.
